A take away customer found 200 had been stolen from his pocket after leaving to go to a pub in Diss.

The man bought food at Pizza Plus in Victoria Road at 6pm on May 6, but only discovered the money was missing an hour later when he went to pay for a drink at the pub.

Having re-traced his steps to the takeaway staff said two youths had found the money near to where he had been sitting and handed it in to them but that another male had already claimed it.

Anyone who has knowledge of the incident or who saw the money being taken should phone PC Celia Powell at Diss police station on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
