Open top bus tours of the former RAF Coltishall site have proved so popular that they are fully booked.

As part of Heritage Open Days, the tours of the site and its ongoing development into the thriving Scottow Enterprise Park (SEP) operate annually.

But spokesman Peter Kerrison said: 'They are running today and tomorrow at 9.30am, 12.15pm and 2.30pm. The bookings have officially closed, although there could be a few places spare. We have over 190 people booked in over the two days.'

SEP and the Spirit of Coltishall Association (SoCA) are working together to ensure that job creation and economic development success also protects the rich history of the former airfield.

The tours are provided by members of SoCA who worked at the site when it was an operational RAF station, Over 130 historic buildings and structures have been protected on the site for reuse as business premises.
