West Norfolk residents have another opportunity to find out more about Mintlyn Crematorium at an open day.

The open day, which takes place between 11am and 3pm on Saturday, July 7, is a chance for members of the public to speak to staff about the building, the grounds, the cremation process and memorials.

Kathy Mellish, cabinet member for facilities and ICT, said: 'We decided to hold another open day at Mintlyn Crematorium after the last was so well-attended.

'The feedback from the visitors was that the open day was an ideal setting to learn more, ask some sensitive questions, and even have some misconceptions cleared up. Lots of people told us that they found it very reassuring to be able to find out more about the cremation process, and we hope that by holding another open day, more people will be able to feel the same reassurance.'
