A family ruffled a few feathers when they were spotted swanning around in the city this afternoon.
The swans were seen waddling in cygnet file on St George's Street in Norwich at midday today and visited The Playhouse and University of the Arts along the way.
Chris Elliott spotted the cultured crew queuing outside The Playhouse and tweeted: 'Queue forming outside @norwichplay already for @karlminns show! #normalfornorfolk'
The Playhouse reopened tonight after a £70,000 refurbishment with Norfolk comedy legends the Nimmo Twins as the opening act - though these guests would probably have preferred Swan Lake.
Mr Elliot, 50, from Norwich, said: 'Lots of passers by were stopping to take photos and give them space to walk past.
'It made me think how lucky we are to have a quiet, scenic part of our city where the swans felt they could go for a stroll.'
