The funeral of dedicated fundraiser William Bradley is to take place on March 1.

86-year-old Mr Bradley, who raised more than �150,000 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust by standing outside Norfolk stores with a collection bucket, died peacefully at his home in Furze Road, Thorpe St Andrew, on Sunday.

Mr Bradley was well-known across the county for his enthusiasm for helping the trust after his granddaughter Natalie Bradley, now 22, was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis. In 17 years he raised �152,420 by standing outside supermarkets, garden centres and DIY stores.

His funeral is to take place at St Faith's Crematorium on Thursday, March 1 at 4.15pm.

Mr Bradley's family have requested family flowers only, but donations in Mr Bradley's memory can be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Trust via Gordon Barber Funeral Home, 2 St Williams Way, Thorpe St Andrew, Norwich, NR7 0AW.
