Traffic light failures on the outskirts of Norwich caused problems for morning rush hour traffic.
Norfolk Police said at around 8am that there had been reports of traffic light failures at the A146 and A47 junctions at Trowse, near County Hall, and advised motorists to "approach with caution".
Highways England engineers were called to deal with the problem.
It is understood that it was due to a temporary fault which has since been corrected.
