More than 350 Easter eggs have been collect by a Norwich recruitment company, to be given to sick children.

Select Appointments, on Exchange Street, asked its clients to donate Easter eggs to them, which will now be delivered to both the Buxton Ward at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital (N&N) and the Each (East Anglia's Children's Hospices) Quidenham Hospice.

Emma Baylis, manager of Select's specialist and commercial divisions, said: 'We've had 382 eggs donated by our clients, probably from about 20 of them. In the past when we have done this we have collected maybe 250, so this has been much bigger.

'We've done this for several years because it's just nice to give something back. I've been here 10 years now and the office has for 16 years, so it's nice to be able to do something like this.'

The eggs will be delivered to the N&N and Quidenham during tomorrow and Thursday.
