Plantation Gardens is to re-open to the public today after a 20ft sinkhole closed it for over two weeks.
The leisure gardens had be closed since April 8 after what is thought to have been the collapse of an old mining tunnel beneath the adjacent Plantation Hotel, in Earlham Road.
A small area of the garden will remain closed off until the repair work at the hotel next to the gardens is complete.
