Norwich Road in Rackheath has reopened after a large tree fell on power cables.

The road was closed between its junctions with Station Road and Vera Road at around 6pm on Thursday.

Broadland Police tweeted: 'Norwich Rd, #Rackheath is currently closed following a large tree bringing down power cables. Please find alternative route.'

Police have since said the road is back open to cars and light vehicles only. It added that there still was no access for HGVs
