Detectives in Norwich have charged a 22-year-old man with drugs offences following an incident yesterday morning. Mohammed Labead, of Kinghorn Road, Norwich, was charged with possession of an offensive weapon, possession of a Class B drug (cannabis) and obstructing powers of search for drugs.
The charges are in connection with an incident in the early hours of Wednesday 4 January 2017, during which officers stopped a vehicle in the Earlham area of Norwich.
Labead was charged as part of ongoing investigations linked to Operation Gravity.
He was bailed to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court on Friday 20 January 2017.
