It's finally time! The Norwich Ice Rink grand opening is upon us.

Located in Castle Mall Gardens, the rink opens tomorrow (December 15) at 10am when the cast of Norwich Theatre Royal's Sleeping Beauty pantomime will be among the first to get out on the ice.

Hundreds of other visitors are expected to get their skates on over the opening weekend.

Debbie Burrell is the organiser of the Eastern Daily Press and Norwich Evening News rink. She said: 'We're so excited to finally have people out on the ice.

The Norwich Ice Rink will run until Sunday, January 7, closing only on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

Opening hours are from 10am to 9pm daily, with the last skate session starting at 8pm.
