A Norwich hockey club is calling out for more members.
Broadland Hockey Club is hoping to launch a third women's team and a youth development squad but needs extra players.
It currently runs two women's teams. The first team competes in the East Women's Hockey League Division 2 and the second team plays in the first division of the Marshall Motor Group Norfolk Women's League.
It is hoped the third team will be running in the season 2013-14 but they need to attract players now so they can be coached ahead of their inaugural season.
In a bid to attract players, the club will hold a open play day on Saturday, May 12, at 2pm at their home ground at Taverham Recreational Facilities, adjacent to Taverham High School, in Beech Road. For details, email broadlandhc@hotmail.co.uk.
