Norwich film fans urged to vote for big screen show
Three family favourites are vying for the affections of cinema lovers at this year's Lord Mayor's Show celebrations.
Norwich Big Screen open weekend's outdoor cinema is on the move as part of the weekend's events to make use of the huge screen at Chapelfield Plain.
And Norwich City Council is giving people the opportunity to choose which film they want to see at this year's popular celebrations.
The trio battling for your votes are: Disney's classic family adventure The Jungle Book; Julie Andrews's classic musical The Sound of Music; and animated comedy Shrek.
Liz Wimms, culture and events officer at Norwich City Council, said: 'Bringing films to the great outdoors has been a firm fixture over the last few years and this year it's going to be even better as the event will be free.
'The focus is on family favourites this year, so people of any age can come along and enjoy the event.
'What we really need is for people to tell us which film they want to see – we want as many people as possible to vote.'
