Norwich City midfielder Leroy Fer married his long-term girlfriend Xenia Schipaanboord in Norwich today.
Just after midday the Netherlands international tweeted from his @LeroyFer10 account: 'My last few hours as a single man. So happy to be marrying my 'almost' wife Xenia @xlms_ .. I love you #XL'
He tied the knot at the Cathedral of St John the Baptist.
Scores of Canaries fans congratulated him on the news, amid sightings of football players including former Ajax striker Patrick Kluivert who was believed to have attended the wedding.
