Norwich's airport has seen passenger numbers soar over the bank holidays, according to latest figures.
Bosses at Norwich International Airport have reported that passenger numbers on holiday flights over the past two weeks rose by almost 60 per cent compared to the same period last year as travellers took advantage of the series of bank holidays.
Andrew Bell, chief executive, said: 'I am really pleased that so many local people took advantage of the opportunity to take an 11- day break by using just three days' annual leave and jet off for some spring sunshine from their local airport.'
