Northgate High School and a local estate agents have teamed up to start an initiative which encourages drivers to travel at a safe speed near the school.
Sowerby's estate agents in Dereham have sponsored a number of signs and banners which encourage drivers travelling around the back of the school to be aware of their speed.
This comes after concerns about many people driving past the school at high speed, particularly during school opening and closing hours.
Joanna Lobb, who is the branch manager of Sowerby's, and Carly Grigglestone, who is their group marketing manager visited Northgate High School yesterday to see the signs and banners they are supporting and sponsoring for themselves.
They were also able to meet members of the student council who have been involved with the campaign.
