The event, which was held at Wells harbour, on Sunday, September 10th, saw 340 people take part.

And with the event being part of the national league for the first time, Robert Smith, Wells harbour master, said: 'We did notice some really good times, and a lot more serious competitors.

'It went amazingly well. It was our 10th year and it went better than we ever could have expected.

'The weather stayed fine and it was a brilliant atmosphere.'
