Norfolk singer-songwriter Nina Baker has beaten thousands of other acts to be named as one of the best UK unsigned acts.

She has been nominated in the 2014 Unsigned Music Awards best female category as well as in the best song category for her song Single Bed - and now she needs your online votes to help her win.

The awards are hosted by global radio show Best of British Unsigned (BoB Unsigned).

Nina, who lives in Wymondham, is a classically trained pianist-singer-songwriter. She first performed in 2010 and has attracted a lot of attention with her piano-pop fusion and much acclaim with her album Quite Frankly which was released this year and is dedicated to her late grandfather Frank Baker.

Nina was runner-up in MTV's Brand New for 2013 unsigned competition.

It was lovely to receive the email telling me I have been nominated...It would mean the world to me if everyone voted. It's a great award for unsigned artists - it does really help to push you forward and get your music known.'

Nina said she described her music as 'piano-led pop fusion with elements of jazz and rock and with a real classical undertone.'
