TV star Myleene Klass has become an ambassador for the Save The Children charity.
Mrs Klass - who grew up in Gorleston, near Great Yarmouth, and got married at St John's Roman Catholic Cathedral in Norwich last October - has joined the charity to help stop 8m of the world's poorest children dying each year from preventable diseases.
The 33-year-old mum of two has recently returned from a week of meeting stricken families in Bangladesh, as part of the charity's No Child Born To Die campaign, to save under-fives from illness and malnutrition.
Mrs Klass used her Twitter account (@KlassMyleene) to say: 'Sorry for going MIA (missing in action). Just done London to Delhi to Dakhar and now home. Am very proud to announce I am an ambassador for Save the Children.'
