Norfolk Constabulary has been recognised as one of the top performing forces in the country in an inspection report published by Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabularies (HMIC).
With an overall 'good' grading in the 2016 PEEL inspections into effectiveness, which looks at how well the force keeps people safe and reduces crime; the Constabulary was also awarded, an outstanding grade for how effective it is at preventing crime, tackling anti-social behaviour and keeping people safe for the second year running.
This follows an overall good grading in the Efficiency inspections; an outstanding grade in one area for the force's comprehension of current and future demand and an overall rating of good looking at how legitimate the force is at keeping people safe and reducing crime.
Suffolk Constabulary has also been rated as 'good'.
