Norfolk Constabulary has been challenged to a lip-sync battle by officers in America.

On Monday, Norfolk Police Department in Virginia posted a video on Facebook of its officers lip-syncing to the song Uptown Funk.

The video quickly went viral, and been watched more than 51 million times since it was uploaded on Monday, July 9.

Now, Norfolk PD has challenged Norfolk Police in the UK to try and do the same.

'Your wait is over,' the police department wrote on Facebook. 'The Norfolk Police Department was challenged by the Corinth Police Department, Texas to a #lipsync battle and we gladly accepted.'

'As you can see we all had a great time filming the video, which we have to point out was done in #onetake!'

'#NorfolkPD is challenging Seattle Police Department, Norfolk Constabulary, Virginia Beach Police Department, and St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.'

The four-minute viral video features dozens of officers dancing and lip-syncing to Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson, featuring Bruno Mars.
