According to a new study, Norfolk is not one of the best places to live in the country.

Norfolk has missed out on being included in a list of the top 50 places to live in Britain.

Halifax have published their annual list of the best places to live, scoring locations on categories such as health, life expectancy, earnings, crime rates and weather.

Southern England dominates the list, with Hart in Hampshire being crowned the best place to be.

Several locations in the East of England made it into the top 50, including the Suffolk Coast and St Edmundsbury.

However not one Norfolk area was mentioned, despite Norwich being named as one of the top 20 friendliest places to live by the Telegraph.

The Norwich suburbs were also revealed as the second most desirable place to live in England by Royal Mail back in February, with the NR6 area being the most popular.
