Norfolk firefighters tackle blaze at house in Ovington, near Watton

Fire broke out in a house on The Street just before 3.30pm today.

Appliances from Watton, Dereham, Hethersett, Sprowston and Thetford were sent to the scene, along with a water carrier and environmental protection unit.

Police sealed off The Street as crews used main and hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze. Firefighters then used a thermal image camera to check for hotspots.

No-one is believed to have been injured in the fire.
