Police are treating a blaze at a derelict building which forced residents to shut their windows and doors as arson.
Residents in Griston, near Watton were warned to shut their doors and windows and to avoid the Church Road area by Norfolk Fire and Rescue, who were called at 10.34am to the fire.
They were stood down at just after noon.
Norfolk Police have since said they are treating the fire as arson and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesman said: 'We got a call from the fire service at about 11am to a fire at a derelict building in Church Road, Griston.
'The fire service found two fires in a building at the back of the site and one in a building nearest to the road.'
She added: 'We are investigating a suspected arson and we would ask anyone with information or who may have seen something to call us on 101.
'Alternatively they can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.'
A spokesman for the fire service said crews from Attleborough, Thetford, Hingham and the environmental protection unit from Sprowston tackled the blaze with jets and breathing apparatus.
