Norfolk day events at Great Yarmouth Library and Fairhaven garden
Two more events have been organised in the Great Yarmouth area to help celebrate Norfolk Day on Friday, July 27.
The first event is at Great Yarmouth Library from 1.15pm and has been organised by the Great Yarmouth Book Club for Blind and Visually Impaired People.
The special book club meeting will see a talk by former Great Yarmouth Mercury editor and EDP coastal editor Anne Edwards.
She will talk about her life as a journalist as well as her love for the town.
There will also be a short discussion about the latest book the club has listened to.
The second event is at Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden at South Walsham and will see people enjoying a cake iced with the Norfolk Day flag.
Sally Randell, a former finalist in Visit England’s Tourism Superstar competition, will cut the cake at 10.30am, to mark 30 years working at Fairhaven Garden.
Norfolk Day is led by the EDP and Norwich Evening News in partnership with BBC Radio Norfolk.
