Fire-fighters spent several hours early this morning tackling a blaze at a barn in High London Lane, Winfarthing, near Diss, which also contained about 500 tonnes of straw.
Two pumps from Diss, the water carrier from Hethersett and the environmental protection unit from Sprowston attended from about 2.20am.
Crews were still on scene at about 3.40am but the number of fire-fighters attending was being scaled down.
Meanwhile, at about 11.40pm last night, pumps from East Harling, Watton and Thetford attended two straw stacks of about 500 tonnes each well alight near the A1075 at Breckles, south of Watton.
