Santa swapped his sleigh for a tractor seat to provide some seasonal cheer to hospital patients.

Father Christmas lead a convoy of old farm vehicles delivering presents to North Walsham War Memorial Hospital on Sunday.

The annual trip from Bacton is organised by Norfolk Classic and Vintage Tractor Club.

Club leader Keith Robinson said: 'To see the smiles on the patients faces is lovely. We are bringing kind thoughts and Christmas spirit and it is very appreciated. It is a difficult time to be in hospital and I hope this brings a little pleasure.'

Patient Michael Gibson, from Sutton, said: 'This was very generous and a nice surprise. Fingers crossed I will be home for Christmas and will wait to open the presents until then.'
