Norfolk chef returns to city roots after three year culinary adventure

A chef is returning to his city roots after three years in London gaining valuable experience in two top restaurant kitchens.
The Last Wine Bar has announced that Lewis Peck is returning as sous chef, alongside head chef Iain McCarten.
Mr Peck started working at the restaurant in 2005, before becoming head chef of the restaurant’s former Unthank Road offshoot, The Last Brasserie, in 2012.
In 2015 he moved to the capital to gain wider experience, starting as senior sous chef at The Chancery in Holborn, then as head chef at Rotorino in Dalston.
Head chef at The Last Wine Bar, Iain McCarten, said: “We are delighted that Lewis is returning to the team at The Last, and he will undoubtedly bring with him the benefits of his experience working in two of London’s most exciting kitchens.
“He will be a terrific addition to the team, and I am really looking forward to cooking up some amazing dishes with him.”
