A carer from Norfolk is marking 25 years of service in the care industry with a series of special celebrations.
Janice King, who lives in Northwold, started her career as a cleaner for a residential care home but when a patient asked if they would provide home care, Ms King offered to help.
She soon established Manorcourt Homecare and the company has grown from its few initial clients to a care provider that today delivers over 23,000 hours of homecare services each week.
From the organisation's Swaffham office Ms King oversees the group's 15 branches, which are located throughout Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Greater London.
Ms King said: 'I still love my work and helping others. I'm surrounded by great people, who dedicate themselves to caring for other people and this continues to motivate and spur me on. I would like to thank everyone for their well wishes, cards and gifts in marking my 25 years' service,'
