A Norfolk firm is celebrating its 10th anniversary by professionally cleaning three Norfolk War memorials.
Set up by Warren Farrow in 2008, VariBlast is a specialist cleaning company based just outside Norwich. Since it was launched the company has grown to employ 12 people, have a turnover of more than £1.2m and has cleaned landmarks such as the Shard in London.
Now, to celebrate its 10 year anniversary and to mark the centenary of the First World War the business has offered to professionally clean three of the county’s war memorials in time for Remembrance Sunday.
Mr Farrow said: “It’s been a challenging ten years, but very rewarding and to celebrate we wanted to give something back to the Norfolk community and those whom gave so much some 100 years ago.”
Chosen through a prize draw, the three chosen towns to have their memorials cleaned are Great Yarmouth, Sprowston and Dereham.
