A number of bus services have been cancelled in West Norfolk due to a burst water main.

Lynx bus are unable to run services between Roydon and King’s Lynn town for the rest of the day due to a burst water main in Lynn Road, Grimston.

A Lynx spokesman said the nearest they can get passengers to Roydon is at the Chequers Road bus stop in Chapel Road.

Bus services to Pott Row and Vong Lane are unaffected.

An Anglian Water spokesman said: “A team of Anglian Water technicians are on site now to repair a burst water main on the junction of Lynn Road and Low Road in Grimston, Kings Lynn, Norfolk.

“We plan to repair the burst live to avoid any interruption to customer’s water supply.

“Once we have repaired the pipe we will need to resurface the road to ensure it’s safe again for use. To allow our teams to complete this work quickly and safely we will need to close a section of Lynn Road.”
