A nine-year-old girl has been airlifted to hospital after she was involved in a collision with a car this afternoon (Friday).
The emergency happened just after 3pm on Lynn Road, West Rudham, near Grove Farm.
Paramedics, a rapid response vehicle, police and a fire officer were called.
The girl, who was walking in the village, was flown to Addenbrooke's Hospital, Cambridge, with head and arm injuries by the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
An East of England Ambulance Service spokesman said the injuries were serious, but not immediately life-threatening, and the girl is conscious.
