Nick Rogers, 26, suffered a 'catastrophic' brain injury when he was assaulted by Lee Monk in the Wymondham store on July 17 last year.

Monk, 20, of Silfield Road, Wymondham, was found guilty of manslaughter following a trial at Norwich Crown Court in December 2017.

He was jailed for 11 years.

At Mr Rogers' inquest review on Monday, senior coroner Jacqueline Lake said the inquest had been adjourned for criminal proceedings to go ahead.

But because there had been a conviction, she said: 'I do not propose resuming the investigation.'

Mr Rogers died at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital on July 18, 2017.

At Monk's sentencing, Judge Stephen Holt described the kick which caused the fatal blow to Mr Rogers as 'sickening'.
