Echo Youth Theatre (EYT) aims to provide challenging and varied theatre experiences for young people in Norfolk, but without the burden of high fees and regular classes.

The launch evening on Sunday was full of performances by new members of the company. EYT also announced their first two productions in 2018, the East Anglian premier of the musical Little Princess and a steampunk inspired version of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream.

OPEN chief executive John Gordon-Saker said: 'This is a very exciting partnership for OPEN and will help us fulfil our mission to make a positive difference to the lives of young people.'

If you are interested in finding out more about EYT and taking part in their first production, they are now taking applications from young people aged eight to 19 to audition. Visit www.echoyouththeatre.co.uk.
