Breckland Council is calling on residents to take part in a survey that will help local companies and boost job prospects by identifying skills gaps.
The confidential survey, to be carried out during August and September, will ask working age adults in the district what training opportunities are offered within their workplace, and what training is needed to progress their career.
The council is also consulting with local businesses, to find out what skills they need in staff to enable their company to succeed and grow.
Breckland councillor Adrian Stasiak continued: 'This survey will give us a better understanding of the current training provision within the workplace and identify where the gaps lie. We will then work with training providers and encourage them to fill these gaps.'
The survey is now live, will run until September 15 and can be seen at www.premieradvisory.co.uk/breckland-adult.
