A half-kilometre stretch of public angling access on the River Yare at Postwick opens tomorrow.
The area forms part of the river known as Surlingham Bends, and was bought by the Environment Agency in 2009.
Improvement projects have addressed car parking, access, and riverbank landscaping, and a footpath with 23 hard-surfaced fishing pegs has been installed.
It will be opened at 11am by angler John Bailey and Mark Casto of the Broads Angling Strategy Group. The EA's Steve Lane said: 'We're delighted to make this important contribution towards providing new public angling access in the Broads.'
