Management at a discount retailer, which opened its first store in Lowestoft at the weekend, have praised the 'warm welcome' given to them by townspeople.
A successful opening event was held at the North Quay Retail Park on Saturday as Home Bargains unveiled its new 17,000 sq ft unit alongside some special appearances from children's favourites from the hit TV show Paw Patrol.
Shoppers are offered a range of products at the new store, and Joe Morris, operations director at Home Bargains, said: 'The store opening was a great success and we'd like to thank Lowestoft residents for their warm welcome.
'We're thrilled by the response we've already seen from shoppers at North Quay Retail Park and are looking forward to seeing even more new customers come through the doors.
'We'd also like to thank all staff members for ensuring the launch day ran as smoothly as possible.'
