A new lifeboat will be operating on the north Norfolk coast while Cromer's Tamar class Lester undergoes routine repairs.
The crew at Cromer brought back the relief lifeboat number 16-01, which means it was the first in the Tamar class.
It is named RNLB Peter and Lesley-Jane Nicholson and can now be seen in Cromer's home station boathouse at the end of the pier.
Lester, which is now 11-years-old, is undergoing its maintenance at Poole after it leaves Lowestoft.
Cromer RNLI operations manager Richard Leeds said he would let everyone know when it was due back.
Cromer Lifeboat Station has been operating since 1804. The RNLI charity saves lives at sea. Its volunteers provide a 24-hour search and rescue service around the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland coasts. The RNLI operates over 238 lifeboat stations.
