Mattishall is to host the Norfolk Film Festival in July with short films being screened from all over the world.

The festival, taking place on July 29 and 30 at East Tuddenham Jubilee Hall in Matishall, will show over 60 short films featuring actors from well known films and television shows such as, Live by Night, Walking Dead, Game of Thrones and The Office.

Andy Turner and Ryan Enever the two festival Directors said: 'We were inspired to run it in Norfolk to showcase the great independent filmmaking that goes on here. We are filmmakers and actors ourselves and we know how hard it is to get recognition for the hard work that goes into making a short film often with no budget and achieved only by cast and crew giving their time for free.'

Tickets are available online from EventBrite or for further information visit the website.
