A bid to create new heritage trail in Holt is set to take a step forward.
An application is being made to secure cash for the trail from North Norfolk District Council's Big Society Fund. Holt Town Council may also seek a grant award from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
The Holt Owl Trail would provide a circular walk following a series of numbered plaques around the town centre. Cley based wildlife artist Robert Gillmor has designed the logo for the bronze plaques, which feature the town's owl mascot. It is hoped the trail, which has an estimated cost of £21,000, can be in place by next summer.
