Norfolk residents are being given the chance to take part in two unique history courses this autumn thanks to the Workers' Educational Association.

Tutor Mary Fewster will deliver a course on the history of transport and travel in East Anglia, guiding attendees through all aspects of transport by road, water and rail.

Meanwhile, Fiona Fitzgerald will deliver a course on the history of art using 100 landmark paintings. She said the aim of the course is to 'help you make sense of art works you might see in a gallery'.

The history of transport will be covered in A Moving Story, starting on Monday September 25 at 7.30pm. Art History in 100 Paintings starts on Friday September 29 at 10am.

Both courses run weekly for seven sessions and are held at Swaffham Community Centre. The course fee is £51.
