Residents of a Norfolk town will soon be able to get closer to their councillors.
Fakenham Town Council is to launch monthly two-hour surgeries from July, so people can meet up with their councillors and discuss concerns they have in private.
Currently, the public can attend the monthly town council meetings and are able to raise issues of concern during a 15-minute "electors' questions" session.
But it was felt people may be put off by having to speak in public.
The first surgery will be on July 11 between 2pm and 4pm at the council offices off Oak Street, next to the community centre. The councillors there will be Janet Holdom and Chris Ellis. The next surgery will be on August 8.
The surgeries will be run for a trial period to see if people use them.
