A new shop raising funds for Norfolk Hospice Tapping House aims to help transform perceptions of charity shops in Dereham.
The store, which opened yesterday, sells new wool and second-hand CDs, records, books and clothes as well as small electric items and pieces of furniture, as well as scratch cards for the hospice.
Staff have reported a busy two days since it started trading, and said all money raised stays in Norfolk.
Deputy store manager Rachel Buck said: 'We want it to be a community shop with everyone getting a warm welcome. We are striving for quality service and quality products.'
The shop, in Dereham High Street, is open between 9am and 4.30pm on Monday to Saturday, and can be contacted on 01362 693902.
