A long-established North Walsham charity shop is under new management.
Steve Balch is stepping into the manager's shoes of Sue Davison at the Salvation Army shop on Church Street.
Mrs Davison and her husband John have been volunteers at the shop for many years and Mrs Davison took over as manager after Cyril Morse's retirement last year. She is moving to Nottingham.
'All of our staff at our shop are volunteers including our manager,' said Major Richard Durrant, of the army's North Walsham corps.
'We are indebted to a wonderful group of people who give so much of their time and hard work to make our shop the success it is'.
Mr Durrant added that unlike many charity shops, all funds raised by the Salvation Army shop were used to support the charity's community work in the North Walsham area.
The army runs a hall in the town's Hall Lane, groups for all ages - including toddlers to over 60s - and also runs a luncheon club, children's club and a weekly coffee morning.
The shop has been refurbished in recent years and has recruited a number of new volunteers, including many younger people.
