Wit and whimsy from 'wireless' shows sending Norfolk squit through the airwaves has been captured by writer, broadcaster and entertainer Keith Skipper in his latest book.
Squit and Wit with Knobs On takes a look back at radio fun in general and Radio Norfolk's Should the Team Think? panel game in particular.
It taps into the daft tests tackled by panellists for more than 20 years.
Sections include Call Me An Old Bluffer, Late Arrivals at the Horticultural Ball, Limerick Challenge, Norfolk Firsts and the wit and wisdom of Sid Kipper.
Mr Skipper, from Cromer, also includes more than 200 new meanings of familiar words. They include decanter (slowing down a horse), lingerie (loitering in an underwear department), rudimentary (a rough kid of school) and Dick Turnip (Norfolk's first dyslexic highwayman).
Regular panellist Mr Skipper hatched the idea for his 37th book with panel game chairman David Clayton over 'a half or three in the corner of the pub.'
Quit and Wit with Knobs on is published by Mousehold Press from November 13, price £9.99.
Mr Skipper will be signing copies at Jarrold in Norwich on launch day at 7pm, and at Jarrold in Cromer on December 14 from 11am to 1pm.
