RICHARD BATSON
A group of mediums want to set up a pioneering centre to cater for Norfolk's spiritual needs.
Despite their name, I C Ghosts are not just a bunch of spookhunters helping people contact the dear departed.
They also help delve into people's spiritual and psychic needs - and have launched a fund-raising drive aimed at putting a range of services under one roof at affordable prices.
They are led by Shirley Cimelli, a clairvoyant with more than 30 years experience of communicating with people in spiritual church meetings.
But she and her handful of group members feel there is a need for an easy access centre for people seeking spiritual help.

The centre, probably in north Norfolk, would offer therapies such as Reiki, tarot, spiritual and crystal healing as well as mediums working with individuals and workshops.
“After a meeting I have had people come up to me, still troubled by questions, and I really have not had time to deal with them properly because I am clearing up.
“They can go for counselling if they have major problems, but many other people have minor, but still important, insecurities.
“You can book in for day long sessions or weekends but they can cost hundreds of pounds,” explained Mrs Cimelli.
The aim was to provide a low-cost centre, which could help people who could not afford expensive treatments, and provide a list of recommended mediums, to protect people from “frauds and fakes” she added.
Mrs Cimelli, from Yarmouth, is drawing up a business plan for the venture, and seeking the support of mediums and spiritual healers and therapists - as well as any financial backers.
The IC Ghosts group - motto “seeking the truth” - is continuing to raise funds through its regular events such as clairvoyance evenings, psychic workshops, and paranormal investigations.
Their next event is at Mundesley Coronation Hall on February 10 at 7.30pm, which includes visiting medium Kevin Hales along with the North American flute music of Cliff Knights, and a presentation to the Ridlington Bird and Seal Rescue trust to which IC Ghosts routinely gives 5pc of its takings.
