Three bodies have been found at a house in Leeds.

Police were called to a property in East End Park shortly before midday on Easter Sunday.

Officers believe the bodies may have been there for more than a day, with indications there may have been a fire at the property.

Police said the bodies are believed to be that of two women and a man.

The fire service and ambulance crews also attended the terraced house in East Park Street.

Acting Detective Inspector Mark Atkinson, of Leeds District CID, said: 'Our inquiries are at a very early stage and we are currently trying to establish the full circumstances surrounding the deaths.

'Initial indications are there has been a small fire at the premises.
