Mystery surrounds the sudden closure of a popular Norwich pub.
The Surrey Tavern, in Surrey Street, closed its doors without announcement last week.
It remained empty yesterday, with no signs in the windows to explain what has happened, and unread post visible inside the entrance.
Calls and emails to the pub were not answered, and a member of the Norwich and Norfolk branch of CAMRA said they had not heard the reason for the pub's closure.
The pub, which was popular with workers at the nearby Aviva buildings, was taken on by brothers David, Nick and Dan Hubbard along with their mother Joan in 2012.
The brothers previously worked in different jobs including retail and decorating.
The Companies House website states that accounts are overdue for Three Brothers Investments Limited - the company run by the Hubbards.
