The story was our most read online yesterday and our readers love for the burger was clear to see. The US burger chain is hoping to open in the former Pizza Hut restaurant on Orford Place. It has submitted plans to Norwich City Council which await approval or rejection.

Five Guys' website boasts there are over 250,000 ways to order a burger at the restaurant and people from across the region are keen to give it a go.

Currently Five Guys fans have to travel to Cambridge to enjoy what's on offer but new outlets are planned in Norwich and Ipswich.
