It was small, red, Italian and sporty – Carrie Secker loved her little Fiat 126.

This is a picture of my mum and me in my beloved Fiat 126 in 1989.

It had a 600cc engine and you had to pull a lever to start the engine.

I remember that, when I bought it, I told my friends I had bought a small red Italian sporty car – then I went and picked them up! It wasn't what they had in mind but everyone loved it.

My friend, Nick, was quite tall and his head hit the roof.

It cost me £400 and I also sold it for £400 a few years later. I have a feeling that, with that number plate, it could be worth rather more today.

I called her Racy-Acey, and I loved her.
